In Dziwnów and Dziwnówek there are excellent conditions for various water sports. This is facilitated by the multitude of different bodies of water: apart from the sea waves, the Kamieński Lagoon and the Dziwna Strait also invite all watermen. The Dziwnow harbour and the marina on the shore of the Dziwna River allow mooring for many yachts of different sizes as well as other vessels. Along the shores of the Kamieński Lagoon there are also other marinas, including the recently beautifully renovated pier in Międzywodzie.
Dziwnów and Dziwnówek are also conducive to canoeing. You can rent equipment in both these towns and in neighbouring Międzywodzie. You can kayak on Lake Martwa Dziwna, Zalew Kamienski, the Dziwna River.
Dziwnowskie water reservoirs also attract lovers of board sailing, which is becoming increasingly popular in Poland. On the waters of Zatoka Wrzosowska and Zalew Kamieński you can often see windsurfers (a board with a sail) and kitesurfers (a board and a kite), as well as Stand Up Paddle amateurs.
On the waters of the Kamieński Lagoon and in the sea, one can also go water skiing and wakeboarding.
Those who like water excursions are welcome in Dziwnów and Dziwnówek by cruise ships, motorboats, catamarans and others.
In addition, you can ride pedal boats on the lagoon and at the seaside you can often see ‘bananas’ following speeding motorboats or scooters.
In Dziwnówek, from the beginning of the summer holidays, you can use the new windsurfing base. The school is located on the shore of the bay of Lake Wrzosowskie (part of the Kamieński Lagoon), right behind the church. There are windsurfing and kitesurfing classes for beginners and advanced. You can also rent water equipment (canoes and pedal boats).
The water area of the Wrzosowska Bay is exceptionally favourable for those learning both kite and windsurfing. At a distance of 400 m from the land across the entire width of the shoreline, the water is shallow – just up to the waist, which creates very good conditions for learning and training. The ground is sandy and the water is clear.
